Tracing instructions

You will need a soft lead pencil (please do not use ink) and a tailor’s tape, available at any fabric store and a manila folder

Decide which socks you are likely to wear under your custom boots and put them on. Outline each foot separately while STANDING, weight evenly distributed over both feet. Be careful, HOLD THE PENCIL STRAIGHT UP AND DOWN as illustrated below. A soft lead pencil will make a dark, clear outline with out distortion of pressing down or having to go over it several times. Please do not use ballpoint. Mark where any special consideration might need to be taken (ie missing, or broken toes)

Measurement instructions

Your foot needs to be relaxed during this part of the procedure. You may find this easier with the help of a partner, however, crossing the foot to be measured across your knee work well also.

While SITTING, and with socks still on, give the five measurements shown above for each foot. PLEASE LIST THEM INSIDE THE APPROPRIATE FOOTPRINT.  You are measuring AROUND each foot at the points shown on the diagram.  Draw the tape snug and be very careful that it crosses the joints at the points indicated by the dots.  Measure your calf at the largest part.

NOTE:  If you are ordering Wow! Boots, the top height will be proportioned to the foot size.  Please measure the largest part of your calf and then measure from that point to the floor for the height.  We can take it from there.
